Join us for a MAEOE Town Hall as we walk through everything you need to know for the Flint 2026 Conference!

We’ll cover key conference highlights including an introduction to the planning team and local collaborators, the history of the MAEOE Conference, and why Flint is the perfect host community this year. You’ll get a preview of what’s ahead for Flint 2026, including the customizable conference schedule, presenter and featured speaker highlights, SCECH opportunities, optional add‑on events, and a look at our silent auction.

We’ll also review logistics such as venue details (parking and accessibility features), lodging options, conference merchandise, and important deadlines. You’ll hear updates on sponsors, exhibitors, Board elections, and how to stay connected through social media.

The Town Hall will end with an open Q&A, so bring your questions!

All are welcome - come get oriented, get excited, and get ready for Flint 2026!

You will be sent a link to attend virtually prior to the townhall.

As it gets harder and harder to make ends meet running a private nature center, many are turning to creative solutions. Michigan Wildlife Conservancy in Bath has combined its Bengal Nature Center with the Wildlife Pub to create a restaurant/bar that overlooks a bog. Visitors can purchase a meal, a drink, and have a walk through a wonderful landscape.

Come join MAEOE on Thursday, September 10 for dinner and a bog walk and see what you think of this pairing of food, drink and nature.

    Schedule:

    • 5:00-5:30 Arrive, socialize
    • 5:30-6:30 Bog walk (unpaved trail)
    • 6:30-7:30 Dinner

    Meal Fees:

Members will need to pay for own food and drinks.

    Accessibility:

Hike takes place on an unpaved trail.
