Description
This museum tour takes participants to two key cultural centers in Flint, the Sloan Museum of Discovery and the Flint Institute of Arts. With over an hour at each location, participants will enjoy immersive, hands-on science and history experiences at the Sloan Museum of Discovery and walk through multiple art exhibits designed to provide an inspiring visual art experience. These two cultural centers, along with a handful of others in Flint, make the community even more vibrant for all citizens by providing education and activities for all. Free parking is provided, and both facilities have accessible spaces, elevators, mobility assistance, and sensory spaces.

Time: Saturday, October 3 from 1:00p.m. to 4:00p.m.
Arrival and Transportation Details: Meet at Field Experience Location 6 at the UM-Flint Riverfront Conference Center (1 Riverfront Plaza, Flint, MI 48502) by 1:00p.m. The car caravan will depart at 1:05p.m. for the Sloan Museum of Discovery, head to the Flint Institute of Arts at 2:30p.m., and return to the Conference Center by 4:00p.m.
