Double your impact! From April 22 to May 15, MAEOE is matching up to $10,000 total in donations. 

How it works

MAEOE has set aside $10,000 to support three different initiatives: EEC-Justice & EEC College Associate Program Fund; Capacity Building Fund; or General Scholarships Fund. As a MAEOE supporter, your donation indicates which initiative(s) you most want us to invest in.

EEC College Associate Program provides eligible college students with: 

• Free admission into the Strand 1 workshop on the Thursday of the conference
• Free admission into the EEC program
• Free admission to the EEC-Professional Capstone Presentations
• Professional networking opportunities like no other

EEC-Justice Program:

• Provides an underfunded school the opportunity to get up to 10 teachers the EEC Associate certification

Expanding our team will help MAEOE turn to its next chapter, especially as the organization scales up our goals. 

MAEOE's 40+ volunteers have been working hard to increase our professional resources and opportunities for our membership.

Our volunteer committees put in long hours to provide MAEOE members with the best possible resources we can. To continue with this level of commitment, MAEOE aims to build the capacity to hire an Executive Director who will help us achieve these goals.

Strategic Plan

General Scholarship Fund will provide opportunities for professionals to attend the many programs MAEOE has to offer, from the Annual Conference, to the Academy of Natural Resources programming offered in the summer.

We are always looking for ways to alleviate any financial burdens that hold back our members.

Consider giving to the General Scholarship Fund to help out an educator who needs a little support.

Donations help fund MAEOE’s annual conference scholarship program, Wildlife Weekend, Environmental Educator Certification (EEC) Justice workshops for under-resourced schools as well as other initiatives that expand our community of practice and build the ranks of environmental and outdoor educators. We couldn’t do this work without generous donors like you, and we look forward to writing our next chapter together.
