MAEOE Conference
MAEOE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has supported Michigan educators for more than 30 years. MAEOE focuses on supporting both formal and nonformal educators through the MAEOE network and social media, our annual conference, mini-grants to teachers, and annual recognition program. Our primary revenue for this work comes from memberships, conference registrations, sponsorships, exhibitor booths, and donations.

Conference Proposals
One of the highlights of our annual conference is breakout sessions lead by those ‘in the know’ about all things environmental and/or outdoor education related. Each spring we ask for session proposals that are reviewed by our planning team to ensure the best mix of topics and hands on learning experiences.
These sessions should support, inspire, and empower learners of all ages.

MAEOE Awards
Each year formal and non-formal educators are recognized by their peers at Michigan's most prestigious environmental and outdoor education awards event.
With seven award categories, deserving educators can be nominated for their EE, OE, JEDIA, and volunteer efforts.

MAEOE has a limited number of scholarships to assist professionals and students in attending our Annual Conference.
