Description
Join For-Mar naturalists and educators on a core features tour. Participants will visit spaces key to For-Mar’s most memorable visits. Learn the story behind the For-Mar Treehouse, Butterfly Habitat, Garden Exploration Space, and other essential and beautiful features. For-Mar has a variety of trail types from grassy, flat paths to flat, dirt trails, along with gentle to slightly moderate slopes. A paved loop near the main building provides an ideal accessible experience. The Treehouse is also fully accessible, accommodating up to 30 kids and instructors with barrier-free access, providing a unique and exciting outdoor classroom space! Since For-Mar is a Nature Preserve, the area is maintained to be as natural as possible; pets, smoking, loud noises, etc. are not permitted. Participants are encouraged to wear long pants and closed shoes.
